I was thinking of Cybertron that was a planet of metal, earth, and sand. They do have trees--beautiful trees-that are protected by the Iaocon State under Madame Beta Pax.
The other planets actually have water and food resources that is plentiful and they have a sun that is huge. like 20 earth-sun big.
